Green Mold on top of jar remove and let finish>?

i have a bit of green mold growing at the top of the jar by the lid but nowhere else in the jar. could i just remove it, get a iso-alcohol soaked paper towel and clean the surrounding area (including lid of course) and refasten the lid and let continue to colonize? thanks for the help

ive got the same thing in a coupel of my jars about 30% colonized or soemthing and that area betweenn the dry verm and the actual cake there is a little bit of green, i dont kwno what to do.. any ideas? also any idea of what causes it to grwo there its in the saem spot on a couple of my jars :[

i've had it on casings. it spreads like wild fire, even after its cut out. unless directed otherwise, i would start over. i ususlaly do.

ok well i took th ejars out that were getting the green.. birthed what there was of them and took out the chunks of colonized BRF/Verm and placed them in my fruiting chamber wich is pretty much just a cooler that i mist and fan heh, anyways they are getting sorta whitish fluffy and stuff im hoping i can get a lil bit off theese they are about one third the size of a fully colonized half pint PF cake. ill keep you updated if i notice any pins..
