in my friends experience, mold at points of inc are from the syringe, or you contaminated the syringe tip, hence the reason the mold at points of inc. make sure you take care to make the tip red with an alcohol flame, then wipe with cotton ball with alcohol. then squit about 1/4 cc of solution into cotton ball to clean out dead junk in needle. Even if you pull the syringe out of the box, it MUST be sterilized!!! my friend just had this problem as well, and the way he determined it was the syringe was because he sterilized 10 pf jars, 5 jars inc with spores A, 5 jars inc with spores B. (Spores A has been inc into about 7 previous jars, all contaminated with green mold.) the 5 new jars of spores A is again contaminated with green mold. All 5 of spores B are fine. Now, for the sake of making sure, he made some honey water with spores A. The honey water looked great!!! great big white fluffy growth..... well when my friend took a clean UNOPENED syringe and got some honey water solution and inc 3 additional jars, CONTAMINATED! thats why im 99.8% it was the syringe, and if thats the case with you, i would write pf and tell em. almost all vendors do. i think. all i know is when i had a problem with one of mine, i wrote the vendor and it was replaced. I've never ordered from pf but im sure they would help ya out and do ya right.
