 todays doctor visit

today i went to the doc in hopes of getting anti anxiety meds mainly benzos, any wayi told her that for a bout the past three years i have had "normal" anxiety attacks w/ fast heart rate hyperventilation dizzyness and a light head ache, but i am coming in today becasue over the past few months my attacks have escalated into severe crippling attacks where i feel like im going to pass out and i have even considered calling the ambulance to come save me. any way before i even finished my rant she had already filled out a script for valium 10mgs got 60 of em to take as needed. and i got another apointment exactly a month from today where i imagine im going to get a refill. my plan is to tell her that they dont seem to kick in fast enough and i still have trouble handling my attacks so hopefully she will give me a faster acting benzo ( alprozolam) or more valium to take on a regular basis

My doctor gives me 60 ativan a month with 1 refill and he expects that to last me several months. I bet if you go in and tell them you have taken them all the first month they will want to take you off of them. I've had it happen.
You don't want to get addicted to a benzo its not fun.

thats good advice maybe i should tell him/ her that i took like 45 of them , and add that they dont seem to be working fast enough . because i want a fast acting short lasting benzo

You need to check in to rehab or something bro...Jesus christ.
Its people like you who keep people who need them from getting them...Like myself. Instead of me going to a doctor and getting them I went through about 4 doctors a neuro doctor, a psych doctor, a regular doctor and then a psychiatrist because I really need them.
I don't know what to say.

you dont know what to say? you got to be a good talker....talk their ear off n fill them full of a whole bunch of tramatic incidents that happen to certian stimuli like say i smell a familiar smell from back in my child hood causes me to break down and i become incapable of handle the stress and anxiety attack and they will pump u full of dr00gz. plus i dont need rehab....i used to have a drug problem but now i make enough money.lol

Me? Yea I use breathing techniques and things like that. I only take my ativan very rarely...But when my anxiety gets bad my blood pressure goes to like 150/100 and my heart rate up to 100 so I have to or its physically bad for me.

Why don't you use cannabis to remove your anxiety? If you keep pushing doctors to write you up meds you won't get any at all.

Heart rate is fine but BP isn't good

Yea...I hate to say it but it is. I've been addicted to medications before and its no fun I'd never wish it on anyone. It was the most miserable years of my life. I barely escaped the grasp of addiction.
