Tape

After I puncture the tape with the needle by innoculating them do I need to remove the tape or keep it on. In the video I watched where they show you step by step(PF Tek) when it was showing the vicelium(that how you spell that?)at 5 days colonization it did not look like there was tape on the holes I am confused and the Pressure Cookin' is just about finished. By the way, any other tips you guys could throw in before I get started would be great. Thank you

if you have a vermiculite layer in your jars, the tape is optional

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

I always leave my tape on, It needs proper gas exchange.
