Sclerotia ID Help
    #11211965 -

I been working with cubensis strains as far as i know for about three months now. I recently inoculated some jars and colonization is almost done. today i was checking up on them and i noticed somthing, growing.

this picture is of it from the front, it look like the mycelium is still growing out, until

you turn it to the side, if you look real close the mycelium looks porous, spongy

and the the third picture is for information. any idea will help, im trying to find out if this is sclerotia or not.

good advice, im gonna laugh if your right, i was running around all
excited telling my girlfriend that i had a special mushroom strain, lol ill do what you suggested, and when i birth the jars ill see if the growth is solid or collapses when any pressure goes on it.

it bird seed, and a speedy substrain isolate

thats jsut a shroom growing invitro...it happens all the time..sometimes they just dont have enough room, or conditions to grow correctly, so they grow looking like that, or deformed....if i have jars that run too long, and start growing like that..i just cut em off, and spawn to bulk.or if you are doing cakes...leave it on and see what happens...
