Have any of you had success cultivating sclerotia on sterilized rye grass seed? I plan on experimenting with this using a tek I found here .
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

From inoculation to maturity, yes I suppose it would be around 6 months.

3 months in the jar for the sclerotia to form, then 1 week to fruit.

The Tamp sceloretia will form ALOT more in the later months. And thats 6 months after full colonization.
I'd suggest trying out rye berries. I havnt done Mexicanas but with Tamps, rye berries did better stone production then rye grass. Rye grass fruited much easier however. And cased, the rye grass and rye berries upped stone production ALOT.
Tamps:

Wow, thanks for all of the input!
AFOAF will be placing an order for a Mexicana syringe this week, and hopes to start a grow log as soon as it arrives.
AFOAF may also add a few rye berry jars into the mix...

they take 3-4 months to finish sclerotia. I usually wait until i can't see any more new growth. i just opened 4 pint jars with grass seed and got 140 grams dry with two chunks that were 19 grams each dry. This is all with multi-inoculation. They were in 78 degrees most of the time with slight variations.
