They are edible but can cause gastric disturbances in some people, I think they make a fairly decent substitute for shiitake.

If you are interested in trying some then start by only cooking a small amount to see how they make your gut feel.

Thanks guys I thought they looked cool and i actually didnt know honeys grew here in north GA, guess you learn something new every day lol :grin:

But as for trying them, i dont think i wanna eat some potential honey shrooms bad enough to risk gastric disturbances...  :scat:
