I have read where vermiculite and perlite can be successfully sterilized in microwave for 5 minutes..let me know if this works.GoodLuck!

You do not have to sterilize the caseing mix, especially not with a pressure cooker.

Anybody may correct me if I'm wrong, but the things normally grow out in a natural field/forest after the mycelium takes hold of the substrate (like your jars did) and that is not 'sterile'.

I think you just need to kill anything that's already growing in there by heating it the oven for a while without cooking it (or nuking it), let it cool, add the appropriate amount of non-tap water, layer the substrate in it and keep it warm and moist until it really takes hold of the casing as well. Then it will be ready for fruiting in a few weeks.
