so after dinner we both go outside to have a cigarette an shit, and he's got this little tupperware container with him (which, to be perfectly honest with you, I didn't even notice at first) and he starts going into this whole rigermarole about how he knows I'm 'at that age' and that 'things are going to inevitably come up' and all this other smoke-n-mirrors type shit where he's obviously hinting at something, but trying real damned hard not go into any specifics about it

...BUT...

"but I already know that you're already doing this anyway" (as he's pulling out his pipe) "and I'd just as soon you'd do it here where it's safe, then take the risk of getting caught elsewhere with it" and just like that - we were sharing a bowl together
