Spread them out on a sheet of newspaper so they all are separated and then dry them under a fan at room temperature. This might take a while. Make sure they are absolutely cracker dry (stipe will snap, not bend when they are cracker dry) and then store them in a tupperware box in a cool and dark place. Putting a bag of desiccant like silica gel in the box will help keeping them dry. When dosing them dry the rule of thumb is fresh weight / 10 + 10%. So if you'd take 15 grams wet, take something around 1.5-2 grams dry.

aiight thats whats up but i got em in a drawer in my room and my upstairs is about 73 usually but i dnt got a fan. and as u can see that thing they are on i spread them out all over that and letting them dry on that is that fine? but last time i put them in tupperware some of them got fur on them

A drawer is bad, because it prevents airflow and basically "locks in" the humidity. It will take the mushrooms much longer to dry that way and increase the chance of them rotting in the meantime. Unless dried quickly, mushrooms will rot as quickly as meat. You can also preserve them fresh in the fridge for about as long as meat. Don't freeze them fresh, however, because the freezing process will destroy the mushroom cell walls and when you thaw them you'll be left with goo.
Put them on a top shelf somewhere, where the air is the warmest and driest if you want to dry them and don't have a fan.

no my drawer i have them in has holes and i left it open some and the left the light off in the room and air gets vented in there is that still not fine?

Yes. You only need a cool environment once they are dry. Before that you want it warm, actually. The coolness is only for longer term preservation.

Dry them in open air, and use a mason jar with some desiccant packets inside, the mushies inside a baggie (to seperate the mushies from the desiccant), doesnt have to be closed completely, all into the mason jar, and tighten the lid.

is desiccant that shit thats in beef jerky packets or wtf is that lol. but question on the patches how long do u think it will take for them to grow back and is it good to leave a few weiliis in the patches to lets them keep spreading cause some of the ones i left 3 of my patches seem like they are just dying from the sun

Yes, do not clean out the patch completely. Allow some of them to stay and drop spores. The fruits you leave will die in the sun and heat, but that's OK, by that time their purpose has been served. Wait for the next rain shower, and check a day or two after the rain has passed, if you didn't completely rape the patch, more should be back. Or if its your front/back yard, set up a sprinkler system and see what happens :wink:

Yes, desiccant is used in pill bottles, jerky, shoes, and many other things where moisture is an enemy. Go to the store and buy some Damp Rid refill, should be less than $10. (Walmart, Home Depot, Rite Aid, and more)

You seriously couldn't just do a search on storing/drying mushrooms? Some people worry me...

oh no dude trust me i tried to and i couldn find anything that actually said directions so eh figured i should just ask some fellow shroomers which seemed smart. but yeah i left at least 1 nice sized weilii in each but there was this one patch that had only like 4 EXTREMELY juicy ones that i just couldn control myself and ended up taken all 4
