Frats are for people who are so socially defunct they have to buy their friends.

That's not to say that knowing a few people in frats doesn't have it's advantages.

Disagree- most frat members are actively recruited by guys in the frat, on campus somewhere.
They dont even mention membership/house fee's until after hanging out a long time.
