Tips for people going to college

Im starting this topic to help freshmans and cause i just transferred to a new college. But anyways just throw out a few tips


1. Bring Beer. My buddy brought some beers and on the first day he just knocked on a few doors near us and a lot of that group became my friends cause it seperates the tools and regular guys (like fags who dont drink and shit)

2. Keep your door open. Lots of people come in the first few weeks to say hey.

3. buy a box to lock your shit in. I learned after a while to keep your money and drugs in a locked box (small safe i guess you could call it). My roommate smoked pot in my room and got caught and like 3 grams of pot i had got confiscated and i got in trouble with the RAs for it.

1st thing I did was took classes that taught me how to study because I had never studied before.

some shit that worked for me or that ive learned is

1. open your door all the time for that way people might just walk in and youll make friends. also the increased air circulation is rather pleasent as well.

2. get involved for at least your freshman year. if your shy or something and approach people to make friends. sign up for like softball or something and make sure its coed. that way friends are forced onto you.

3.make sure you figure out your priorities. basicly colleges boils down to education and fun. having fun is cool, but too much means your gonna be stressing later when you havent spent enough time studying. some classes you dont have to study all semester long, except for the day before tests. other classes you do have to keep upto date on stuff. try to figure out the diffrences between the two types of classes early on.

4. if you have a drinking problem already, join a frat or sorority that way youll have an excuse to drink excessivly. if getting caught drinking by ra's or cops is your problem since your not 21, join the greek system, that way you wont have to walk outside as much to party, plus there is no ra's to monitor you.

5.if you smoke weed, and you also go out to party, only bring enough to survive. no need to smoke out 20 random strangers in a drunken haze. also smaller amounts means less smell and harder to find in the event that you run into the police.

1. Start hitting on girls right away while they are still insecure and looking to experiment with their sexuality.

2. No matter how much people tell you that joining a frat is cool, its still totally gay.

3. Don't try to be friends with an RA. 9/10 of them are lame and there is no point. Its better to make them afraid of ratting on you than convince them you are a friendly puss because they will screw you over anyways.

4. Buy a hitter box in case your roomate is a tool.

5. Have people over from the floor for a weekly drinking session. This makes you seem outgoing and it will totally get you laid by the girls on your floor.

Right on Catalysis on number 1 and 2 and 4 and 5, but on 3 be cool with the RA's so they wont fuck with you as much as the other people. Less hassel with RA's, less trouble from anyone else.

1) dont vomit in the shower. if ur gonna spew at least make sure you get as far as the sink - that way you dont have to bend over as you try to tease the chunky bits down the plughole.

whats an RA anyhow? they sound like the gestapo!

1) Run for Student Body President and/or try out for one of the athletic teams. This is a good way to establish yourself as a BMOC (Big Man On Campus).

2) Those plain-jane, rather bookish-looking girls, with the glasses, who work in the campus library, may not look like much, but they are often a source of really hot-action in the sack. However, be aware that some of them might be into the BDSM scene, so be up on your Marquee de Sade.

3) Also remember your hygiene. A clean body means a clean mind.

4) Clubs are a good way to make new friends. See if there is a chess club, or maybe a bible study group you can attend.

5) Anti-ROTC rallies are a lot of fun, and those militant chicks really put out.

6) Avoid the use of illicit diet pills to help you study. A healthy diet and regular exercise should be enough. Remember that your college education is the "foundation for the house of your later life."

7) If you have a rather hot looking thirty-something American literature professor who is going through a divorce, try to make friends with her. She may need some support, and she may be grateful. Also, thirty-something American lit professors really put out.

8a) Always keep a copy of Henry Miller's, "Tropic of Cancer," with you to loan to the girls. Reading "Tropic of Cancer" really makes college girls hot.

8b) After you've warmed them up with "Tropic of Cancer," cool them down, by bringing them back to your dorm room, and putting a Dave Brubeck record on your Hi-Fi. Know how to mix a good martini.

9) Practice kissing with your pillow, so you'll be prepared and not seem awkward should you "get lucky."

10) Many colleges are near big cities, and big cities can be very dangerous. Don't let anybody take you in a game of three-card-monty, or slip-you-a-mickey. Also, be cautious of women in big cities who dress provocatively, as they may have low moral standards, and you might catch something. If you catch a venereal disease then a nice girl won't marry you.

11) And always remember, 11 is the 5th smallest prime number.
