Lucid Dreaming
    #10895640 -

I'm sure some of you have read this

http://www.wikihow.com/Lucid-Dream

It is an amazing article, read especially the Tips and the Warnings part, both at the bottom, they're interesting. To give this post a reason, I experienced lucid dreaming after doing mushrooms for my first couple times, and I believe there is a strong link between psychedelics and lucid dreaming (well duh) enjoy

the only true lucid dream I have ever experienced was me running around in a supermarket. Suddenly I realize that I am in a dream market and that rules dont apply here. So i go running down the aisles knocking everything from the shelves to the floor. then the cops started chasing me and I ran out the door and flew off into the air while they stood their dumbfounded.

that was a few years ago, most of the time when I am dreaming, I am not aware of it and not as able to interact with my surroundings. That one dream seemed so realistic though. Pretty sweet. I think dreams are easier to control and more vivid if you wake up in the early morning and stay awake for like a half hour then go back to bed. thats when the sweet dreams hit me.

I was pretty talented at lucid dreaming prior to heavy pot smoking in highschool.

After 18 months of intensive dream journals (I'm talking 10 crammed, A4 pages a night, everynight) I was going lucid every single night, sometimes 5+ seperate dreams a night, full recalled.

Then I had my first toke and I've been and everyday smoker (now vaper) for over 10 years. Anytime I quit pot for more then 2 days I instantly go lucid.

Initially I nearly always went lucid through the "clock test", look at the clock, turn away/close your eyes, then look back at it... very easy way to go lucid. Eventually though I was about to go lucid spontaneously.

All I smoke is a good spice blend, and I go lucid every night.

Last night, I was the star of a play and then I became a professional Koosh-basketball player.

Man, was I ballin'

Them shits were hard to dribble though.

Travelling wasn't against the rules of Koosh-basketball in my dream.

I was worried about doing it at first, but the ref never blew the whistle.

I really wish i knew how to lucid dream, if i knew how to lucid dream then i wouldn't have my retarded ass nightmares. Like last night i had a dream that i was stealing(i used to have a problem) and i got caught and i ran and got caught. I almost cried when i woke up... If i could lucid dream i would have flown out of there, i need to learn how x_X

I am really surprised this isn't more popular; you try and talk to people about it and its like hitting a brick wall. If they had virtual reality machines, people would be going crazy to try them out. This is virtual reality that you can experience every night, all it takes is the smallest amount of effort to learn.

Part of the reason I have stopped smoking pot lately is because of lucid dreaming. Yes being stoned is great, but virtual reality is so much better, for me, there is no competition.

If you are wondering how you can do this, just google it. The techniques are really quite simple, and once you start having lucid dreams they become more frequent, last longer and you have better control.

I had the same one. Walking through a petrol station,I brushed past a bottle of wine and it smashed onto the floor. I was about to apologise but nobody looked or turned their heads or anything.

I proceeded to throw more bottles across the shop, smashing up the place. Good times. Mindless fun.

Just when your about to nod off, start thinking about how your brain is slowly shutting down. If you're going too quick, sit back up.

Try again. Try and be fully aware of the point where your brain is shutting down. If you can do this, you can drift into your dream or whatever pops into your mind, slowly but surely but you are fully conscious.

I never think about it when I go to sleep, that's my problem.

Lucid dreaming is not very hard once you know what you need to do to accomplish lucidity. I read a great article about the basics...

here it is, Lucid Dreaming in 5 easy steps:

http://www.dreamherbs.com/Lucid.htm

I can lucid dream every now and then... but usually only after a good night long sleep.

That's what I've been trying, I'll keep thinking to myself and keep myself up, but then next thing you know I'm waking up.

I am quite experienced in the art of lucid dreaming.  There was a time a few months ago where I got in the groove of being able to do it every night for at least a two weeks.  I learned how I should lay, what mindset I should be in, etc.  This was all after I did a ton of research on the subject and did a college oral report on lucid dreaming.

I am slightly out of tune now, but given some practice I could probably do it a lot again.  Great stuff, very enlightening.

Haha a few days ago by accident,I dreamed I was giving it to 4 mature(50 ish) women. They were really loving it too. I think it was semi lucid because I woke up in between but went right back into it:awesome:
