Fuck it! I'm going vegetarian

I just decided. Out of no where.
I realized I hadn't really eaten meat for 10 weeks, and I feel fantastic!

Do it! I am also a recent vegetarian convert.

The key to being a healthy vegetarian is eating a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, and cooking your own meals.

I realized that I am much happier and self-satisfied after becoming vegetarian.

Out of curiosity, are you doing this for morality or health reasons?

I tried it.
Then after 3 months of constant shits, I said fuck THAT noise.
Also, after eating red meat from my break, I noticed an increase in my sex drive,aggression, as well as other things.
Meat is goood.

I was vege for six or seven months, had to stop for family reasons, and now I'm converted again. I realized I just don't like meat. Whoop for us healthy people :grin:.

I've leaned my diet towards fish and white meat instead of red meat. It's really helped me lose some weight. I'm not strict though, I may have beef like once a month, I have no moral problem with it. We've been eating meat since the beginning why do people have a problem with it now?

Because of the abundance of food in the past 100 years. You think people would be strictly ANY diet if in a jungle or any foreign wild?

Well both in a way. I understand that man has eaten meat for a long time, but now through evolution there is no need anymore. And I also understand the strain that meat production puts on the enviroment.

It's more that when I'm chosing food, I'm always more attracted to the non-meat option cos generally it tastes better,
and I feel better when I don't eat meat.

I've also taken up dumster diving recently. Haha I'm a hippy :crazy2:

True. And, may I add, because of all the hormones that are pumped into the animals, animal's food, meat, and basically everything else. And also because it's just cruel to eat something that's so like us, some more than others :grin:?

I would eat human if it was legal and tasted decent.

I was a vegetarian for almost ten years. Now I ea fish, and limit my red meat to once or so a month.

LOL. Didn't they test that on one tribe....they had a weird brain disease that literally bored holes in their brain, like swiss cheese or something, and then they linked it to their cannibalism. Better not try it. :smile:

i've noticed i have eaten less and less meat during the few last months. i don't have any moral reasons, its just my body doesn't crave it and so now i willfully try to reduce eating meat at all. i've also given up on alcohol completely, feels like meat and booze also hinder meditation.

your diet is probably healthier than most, a little red meat, fish
and the veggies, it's all about proportion, I personally like the
higher proportion of red meat

But essentially, it's all just vitamins, proteins ect that we get from meat.
All obtainable within vegan diet.

Is there common vitamin decifiancies to look out for,
as in when turning vege what is the main things you miss from red meat that you should
take care to include in your diet?

that's incorrect, there was just a thread about it and a few of
the links were recent studies showing degradation of bone tissue
in vegans
