Sexual Cannibalism

#10644843 - 07/09/09 12:43 AM (17 years, 3 months ago)

There are several species of spiders, and of course, praying mantises, wherein the male is eaten during or shortly after coitus.

The question is, would humans do the same thing if it was part of our mating and we were aware of the inevitable results?

Then I went to the mall - and answered my own question.

Life without sex followed by death or death right now with a pleasurable bang?

Give me the (petit) mort any day.

Orgasm - the little death. I am not stoopid, I just play that way on the net.

Here is the point: if we were programmed as the spiders are, I doubt we would be able to resist no matter the consequences.

If we were programed as spiders, we wouldnt be 'we'.

Still, its good perspective to consider what ridiculousness we are programmed to do. (like the mall you mentioned...)

Well that seems self evident.
