FAFSA

WTF.  I'm headin back to get my Masters this fall, and I just had to fill out the fafsa.  I didn't do it for undergrad - and this shit seriously made me want to :suicide:

And to top it all off, right when I got to the last page (where you click the final "I agree"), my IE got the wonderful [Not Responding] message!  Back to step 1.

fafsa is a huge pain in the ass.

what pisses me off is my parents haven't supported me since i was 16, and yet until now (until you are 24, which i'll be on friday) their income has affected what i qualify for via fafsa.

The FAFSA is terrible. After the first time though it stores some of the info which helps in the future.

I'm goin back to the same university I did my undergrad in too.  It's not anywhere near the best school I could've gotten into (my academic history is quite good), but I missed all the deadlines for the other programs I was interested in - and the faculty here absolutely LOVES me.  So, I'm lookin forward to it.


I'm still torn on what I'm going to pick as my concentration :frown:  But I'm 90% positive I'll be spending Summer of 2010 up in DC interning at the Fed :awesome:

First, don't use IE, switch to Firefox.

Second, yes the FAFSA sucks! You are lucky to have been able to avoid it for so long.

Firefox is just another thing that my computer doesn't need.  I got this shit spring 2004 - its ready for the boneyard.  Once my parents sell their house, I get a new one (graduation present):awesome:

I'm telling ya, give it a chance. It is really stable, and the add ons (such as not seeing ads AT ALL & not having scripts run with out your permission make firefox a must have IMO). I've yet to run into a site Firefox can't handle.

It use to be like that in the beginning, but it is a fantastic alternative.

Meams, be sure you're filling out the government version of the fafsa:
www.fafsa.ed.gov/ It should be saving each page as you go along and nothing will be lost.  Maybe you're at fafsa.com which is bogus and charges you $25.  It should be free.
