I consider insanity a form of divine intervention, something to alter the course of the future through the butterfly effect.

And yes there are some crazy things people do while under psychosis, none of it can be explained in words to give the full effect.

Wow, I've never heard schizophrenia (is it) described like this. I'm glad you are out of it now. Thank you for posting this.

I believe i gained extra sensory perception through psychosis. One day science will catch up.

No problem, most people just hear the professional side to inanity from doctors and doctor reports, the real stories are the trip reports from the patients. Someone should make a site like erowid except for schizophrenic trip reports.

I have the ability to create complex geometric patterns in my mind at will. Increased ability to play instruments. I also receive occasional telepathic messages which i have proven to be accurate through testing. I also have greater access to the subconscious mind and near photographic memory.

A schizophrenic validating telepathic messages is like an alcoholic validating his drinking. It only makes sense to them.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

I hate being treated as someone with a mental deficiency. I have been IQ tested in a clinical setting and received a result placing me above the top 1% of the population. My brain does not seem to be deteriorating, in fact i feel i am becoming more intelligent over time.

Schizophrenia is a scientific mystery, they are treating it as a form of "insanity" because we have a different way of thought than most people. They did the same thing with LSD during the MK ULTRA research. The subjects displayed a different way of thought so they immediately assumed it was a form of retardation, they even said it could be used as a "reversible, chemical frontal lobotomy".

telepathy is a one way thing tho... you think when someone even in the movies uses telepathy the person thats being used on or is the subject of the telepathy is doing it also?

and while I was in the nut house with a bad case of the psychosis, in my mind there was a great battle waging on that was beyond the perception of the average man's senses. The battle was weather I should be given a second chance at this reality... would I do great evil or would I recover as an altruist and change the world around me for the better. For months while I was mentally broken, entities continued to debate over my freedom and its possible benefits, I told them with my mind that I'd be changed man, but they knew Id say what needs to be said to get what I want, and therefor I was disregarded. After 3 months of intense neural pathway disorganization, I was given a new form of medication that made me feel real again. Was this the entities' choice or was this just a coincidence? I coudln't tell yeah, but every so often I get some kind of subliminal message from them, weather it be on a tv show or a song on the radio, and sometimes I see their message with the smile of a persons face when i do them a good deed for them.

Insanity... God's way of saying STFU

Don't ever think you know it all...

From your experience, do you hold schizophrenics responsible that actually commit violent deeds (or "evil")? Do you scorn them? Or do you fully understand and accept them?

Ill jump in here even though the question wasn't directed at me. I think the stereotype of schizophrenics being violent people is a form of prejudice. If anything, schizophrenics normally only cause harm to themselves.

As for the ones who do cause harm to others. I have sympathy for them as they are under extreme stress, of a type, and to an extent that most people aren't usually exposed to.

At the same time, there has to be consequences to hurting others.

I've come to understand that in all truth, there is no good, and there is no evil, thinking makes it so. What I have also understand is that there is socially acceptable moral expectations. To be fair id have to say most should not be held accountable for the bad actions they do, but they should be aware of the severity of the deed they have done. It's kind of a gray line when it comes to schizophrenics because each case is very different.

Difficult question to answer

Every schizophrenic wants to believe they have gained some sort of special power or ability after dealing with insanity. None want to admit that its merely the effect of a broken brain. I'd love for science to say someday that schizos are an evolved form of humans, but I do not entertain my delusions, it helps me stay in this reality.

I do entertain the possibility that there is something wrong with my brain. But i have come to the conclusion that this is simply not true and reject the concept that the schizophrenic mind is inferior to the normal human mind.

If someone met me, they would not think i was schizophrenic, they would think i was the same as everyone one else. This is how i believe i should be treated and this is how i treat myself. Anything else, i believe, is a form prejudice.

Don't get me wrong, I think a schizo can do just as good as any other human in this world if not more.

But give a nice dose of acid to a wild animal and see how well it does in nature, it will drop down the food chain quite fast. And there is a reason for the lack of respect for those with mental disorders for a reason, statistically most schizophrenics are less productive as citizens then normal people. Pre-occupation with thoughts which seem to be more important then reality itself is never good. We are here in this reality, what is the good of having all this intense brain activity if one can not express it or convert it into something that can be used in this world?

I can understand this. I would say that I have schizophrenic tendencies normally, but nothing too significant. When I trip, though, the fireworks start exploding. Like with Salvia. I can understand what you're saying about entities. My first trip with Salvia (first trip ever, lol, that was a mistake), I had entities talking to me, showing me the nature of the universe. But I started to freak out really bad because I couldn't handle having my existence expanded beyond physical reality. I was scared off what could happen to me in other realities, like a deer in headlights. I couldn't trust anything. One of the entities said "you can't handle it" and my being immediately contracted back into just physical reality. I felt like the women in this picture:

As my being expanded, the images of my body kept multiplying (think of her several arms multiplying over and over again until they stretched across the universe), and as I came back to reality, the images contracted back into one, the singular ego. After that, all of my Salvia trips would just trap me in nonsensical loops that would never end (it seemed) as the entities mocked me. My being would expand, but it would just expand into itself, if that makes sense. Instead of an antennae transmitting data outward into the universe (how I felt on the first trip), I felt like an antennae whose signals were reflecting back to itself in an enclosed room, until I was drowning in my own energy. Needless to say, I stopped smoking Salvia. I've grown a lot since then, and I would like to do Salvia again, but I'll wait until it feels serendipitous.

I had trips on other drugs after that, and a few times I felt like I got back into the strange space where those entities exist. It seemed like they had less and less interest in me and just left me to myself. I had to use my own willpower to come back. I could not give up my body because I felt I couldn't trust these other dimensions. They could be great, but they could be horrible. They were, at the least, completely alien and terrifying in their power over my soul, or my being.

Which is why I'm kind of schizophrenic, I think. I take this stuff kind of seriously. Part of me will say it's just nonsense, but a larger part seems to kind of believe in it...

Your post brings about memories of my psychosis, when I lost touch with reality, this new world I was in, I felt asif I was a newb... literally  a weakling in this new world of energy, entities would sometimes tell me thinks like they said to you, stuff like "you don't belong here".

I have to say I felt asif because of some error I was brought into this altered reality prematurely and I was welcomed by some and not by others. and it was this constant battle between these entities that made me think they were deciding what to do with me, give me a chance at reality or let me stay here and be taken advantage of by dark entities.

It is all so very strange.
