You'd be crazy not to take an outside perspective into consideration.

Everyone's life does, but no need to take it out of others though, they have their own problems. You shouldn't feel good for winning an argument, you should feel good for inspiring someone, or helping someone, or being altruistic and giving someone your last smoke, that is where the true happiness lay.

edit: god you people love labels, get schizo enough to laugh at those labels or something... everyone has the labels to some degree, it just depends on gullibility and theatrics, no? And I like you for it :faded:

:faded: I think this symbol could of quite concisely summed up most of your contributions to this thread.

perhaps but I believe I made some solid points...

go snuggle up to your university trained psychiatrist and maybe she/he will whisper you sweet consoling nothings into your ear until your derangement starts to make sweet sweet sense to your all too needy outlook in life

 None of what you said applies to me at all. Have another drink pal, whatever remaining brain cells you have obviously aren't doing you much good.

He even admitted that he was just being a troll. And this behaviour was all because he almost consumed a six pack of weak American beer in seven hours. A feat he brags about. Then after this poor performance he dragged himself off to bed in a daze. Shameful.

trolling in a certain exaggerated sense, but of course you really arent making any concerted effort to actually rebutting besides appeals to pedantic psychology... but of course I am more addressing some notions I was kind of imagining in my mind about some loose cases of craziness, I dont know you or lunatix personally so for all I know maybe you really are bat shit insane, fuck...:thaaannks:

I don't really consider myself crazy anymore, schizophrenic yes, but as you can see I'm very much back to reality, as long as I take my meds. Although I retained a certain bit off mental distortion which I don't think will leave me anytime soon. Like music for example, ppl say it affects them deeply, well even more so for me.

For the record, even though I take the subject of schizophrenia lightly I am in no way trying to make it look cool, insanity is a a terrible but amazing experience and many don't come back to reality, I was lucky to not get the visual and auditory hallucinations, this is why I recovered so quickly.

As for the reason I wanted to kill myself, after so long I thought I'd never be normal again, and that my whole life was going to be this way.

60% of male schizophrenics attempt suicide, it's not an enjoyable trip for most people, and is a very serious matter, but this is how I cope, I talk about my experiences and try to make light of a dark situation. I'm a believer that bringing out ur flaws into the open is the best way to overcome them. I'm not going to hide what I am. Everyone that knows me knows im schizophrenic.

I was reminded by this thread when I was walking to classes and saw a few of the sort of whacky older dudes around the mcdonalds on campus, whom I see often. Many times you can see them talking to themselves very candidly and often with some sort of frustration or something in their demeanor. I was wondering, just how they get to that point and how long they had been so different... a myriad of reasons methinks, I guess what I don't like about of psycho-illnesses is how one size fits all their prognoses seem to be, at least from here and how comprehensible we think things are with the said labels... anyway to these people's cases I would likely believe it very much a problem of substance abuse and negative influences/deficiencies they experienced while developing as a child and early adult, that is probably most likely - no?

part of this stuff almost seems to have a "bad conscience" about the whole thing, at least it seems as though some people won't think constructively or within reason, due to perhaps the aforesaid causes and perhaps to a neural tendency, but I respect people who let it sink in and make apparent their torment, often times people just stomach it, at the cost of some degree of averageness... I would say some of the most interesting people are a bit off center - but what is most constructive for people that think like yourself, to say - well I am sick blah blah blah, well ok - now what? Is all the drama necessarily not at all part of a faulty intentions, inasmuch as culture at large provides a contrast to delusional speculations? I don't know why I am doing this but mental issues are quite interesting to me.

At least try to be cheerful enough to start a more dry dialectic with yourself with a tendency to humor, perhaps things could be said and points made without all these appeals to psycho-medical explanations... seems like a way to dig your own grave. That is, examine the thoughts that one can construct with... fuck pity.

But then again maybe you epitomize that classic bruteness with a youthful mind via drugs that results in an almost unwinnable battle with seared thought patterns, unless you regulate with some other drugs or something.
