myco bag that wont colonize

ok so i have this myco bag that just will not colonize like at all... it has a reptile heating pad with a cloth over it underneath it while in the box it came in.... its not doing a thing and its been ohhh so long like a month so what can i do to make it colonize... like can i take it out and do something with it?

what are the temperatures? did you massage the bag? where did you inject into the bag?

ok the temp is around 80, no i did not message the bag i thought that was not done untill it colonized, and i injected at such a steep angle that you could see the needle between the stuff and the bag

Also how much did you inject in? Also give the filter patch a sniff, see if it smells like it's contaminated. If you've waited for over a month, maybe your syringe is bad or you haven't injected enough in.

To answer your question about breaking up the contents of the bag. You can, and should do it now many people have found that the mycel. will colonize the bag quicker if you genly massage it out flat in the bag.

pictures yaaaaaaaaaa It serves the same purpose...to spread the mycelium around so that it will colonize the substrate in a much quicker time period
