My Left Nut Hurts [Update: Diagnosed]

Yeah, my left nut hurts.  It's been doin it on/off all day.  Throughout the day it was just a dull pulsating sensation every now and then - didn't "hurt", but was unnerving since it was my nut.

Being the overanalyzing hypocondriac that I am, I've paid attention throughout the day and am now aware that it comes about when i'm breathign heavily, and if i take a sharp inhale of breath, it stings for the duration of the inhale.

WTF is up with it.  and by the way - FUCK WEBMD.  That place is complete garbage.

If it starts to swell, get to the hospital immediately.

Otherwise it might not be anything too serious. Pain in the testicles can feel like it's covering a large amount of area (sometimes right up the back, up in the abdomen). Sometimes pain can be caused by harmless cyst(s) in the epididymis. If the pain persists or if you feel any lumps, see a doctor and book in for an ultrasound of your nut.

Being the over analyzing hypochondriac that I am... i have read before that is a symptom of teste cancer. i.e. (dull pain)

Well, the pain moved to both nuts, and got worse over the past week and a half.  Yesterday & today it was getting a bit too much to handle, so this morning I scrambled to find a free clinic in my area (no health insurance).

Found a doc, he checked me out and determined it was epididymitis.  Antibiotics, genital support, and no exercising for two weeks :frown:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't believe I had a testicle ailment, :wtf:

Yeah, it was meant to be a bit of humor at the end of a not-so-fun post :frown:

The doc was great though.  Just some guy who set up a practice in the first floor of his house.  $50 for the appointment, and then $4 for my Walmart 'script, cheap ass medical help figuring i'm completly uninsured.

I ran some searches online for "virginia free clinic". 


Unfortunately most of the free clinics I found were booked for weeks, or had a huge qualification process.  I really just got lucky coming across this place.  One of the free clinics I called referred me to him - it worked great. 

Same-day appointments, walk-ins welcome, $50 regardless.  Great dude :thumbup:
