Reheating PDA

I don't have a working stove so I bought one of those fancy already-made jars that cost more than it should.

I hear you can microwave it with the lid on (Tight or loose?) although boiling is more common to reheat.  How long or when should I pull it out of there?

If it's a plastic lid loosen it and run the microwave for about a minute then check it. repeat as often as needed.
you don't wanna do it all at once cause you will caramelize it or burn the sugars. safer to boil.

See the links in my sig for your own PDA recipe you don't even need a scale, just measuring spoons.
you would need a hot plate and PC though.

Its a metal lid, i'll loosen it a tad and toss it now.  Does PDA produce any gases when heated?

nope. no gases. well no more gases that seaweed or potatoes anyway.

So this stuff in the jar is it a powder or a jelly?
If it's a powder you need to mix it with other stuff, did it come with directions?

don't put the metal lid in the microwave, check the jar, if it's plastic it may melt in the microwave.
I think you need to do a little more reading before you do this.
