My faves are salmon, unagi (eel) and tuna!

I can eat so many salmon sushi.. I love it so.

Yellowtail tuna, salmon, shrimp (especially sweet shrimp or Ama Ebi), Unagi (eel, super dank), and rolls are pretty good.

Don't go to a shit restaurant. If you have any Asian friends or family, ask them where to go for the best sushi.

Depends on who makes it. At my favorite place the spicy tuna roll is great. But cheap places have bad sushi no matter what kind. Also try to get what is local. If you are in cali try  california roll. Good sushi places try to get local fish. local=fresh, fresh=good sushi

Oh yeah, and go light on the wasabi.

if i was still in LA i would have no problem but im in southern New Jersey and its still kind of under construction down here lol. ill take my chances tomorrow. i heard its not bad at the place im going

I like crab, salmon, tuna, and anything spicy. I hate the tobiko though. and  I love wasabi. I usually get sake or sapporo light if i am drinking. i love sushi.

sake (salmon), maguro (tuna), toro (fatty tuna), hamachi (yellowtail), tai (red snapper), suzuki (sea bass) are my favorites

I agree with everything Shroomism said, but I'd add mackerel to that list too. I'm also a fan of squid and octopus, but those are an acquired taste for most people. Eel tends to be every nonsushi-lover's favorite when it comes to nigri sushi(fish on top of rice). As far as rolls go, I've always loved the bagel roll, spicy tuna, and volcano roll. Every place had different rolls though. Just order what sounds good to you.

Shroomism: Sea Bass is really called suzuki? 
"I drive a Sea Bass Rodeo." That just sounds awesome.

I'm addicted to pretty much all the types of makizushi rolls. Crab meat is my favourite fish filler w/ the cucumber & avocado.

just order a few different types of rolls. i usually get 3 each of four different kinds when i go for about $15. i love the spicy eel rolls they have at whole food here. shit, i love all of it really...

sucks it's so expensive, otherwise i'd eat it all the time.

I went to this place where they had really good all you could eat sushi for an hour. Too bad they don't do it anymore (probably my fault). Get sea urchin if they have it.

Hamachi (Yellowtail tuna) is my absolute favorite.  Get some hamachi sashimi!

It's like eating a starburst or something.
