A load of guys died doing this a few months back.  All their extremities turned black.  I wouldn't do that just for money.

Why do you need money so bad?

I don't think people need money.  People need food, water and shelter.  Anyone not living in 3rd world can easily aquire these with a bit of creativity.

Also note that plenty of academic (non-pharmaceutical) studies exist.  Usually by the time a drug makes it to human trials, chances of death are very slim.  The review boards for these things are extensive.

You can also find plenty of benign studies, doing trivial things such as drinking coffee and what not.

check your local university. we have tons of study sign up sheets for the psychology department here. i haven't seen any pharm ones, but there was a study last quarter studying the effects of muscle degradation when wearing a cast that was cool. just had to wear a cast for a month and they paid you $1,000.
