Grain Tek Recommendations READ UP!

Finally, I decided to get a PC and do grain tek. I have heard TOO many great things about grain that I couldnt resist. First I heard its the only way to achieve massive amounts of mushys. Second I found out how i could get a PC for FREE! The only cost will be to learn the multiple teks and find the one I like and buy some quart jars <----Correct? All the pros out there, give me some pointers and lead me to prosperity! Tell me what grain you use/prefer....Do you case the grain or what....etc. SHOW ME THE GRAIN!!!!!! Links will be helpful too.

This really isn't a cultivation question...
but.. nothing would happen.
They're all the same KIND of mushroom. Same species.
Strains are just different growth characterstics.
They all have the same active chemicals in them..

the PF tek uses just rice and verm. and if that works, why would rice be mal-nutritous?

Milo/millett is a good choice , is easy to find .
After full colonization innoculate bulk substrate of some sort (worm castings , dung etc...) after sub is fully colonized case with 50/50 peat/verm or leave uncased if you want . Initiate pinning and pray to Mushroom Goddess that all was done right .
Use half pinters to start , due to quicker colonization , fit nicely in PC also .
By the way how are you getting "free" PC ?
