Amanita dosages?

Living out here in the Great Pacific NorthWest, amanita mushrooms are again in season. Last time I tried any was about 20 years ago, twice, and had ahhhh.... a really really strange time of it all. Didn't seem to have much effect when I was AWAKE but when I went to SLEEP (??!) things just went all haywire to hell with bizarre 'lucid dreams', I guess they might be called. Freaked me out enough not to want to try them until just lately. We also are blessed with Liberty Caps out in this neck of the woods, and I enjoy them a whole lot.
Well.... I picked a bunch more and ground them to powder in a coffee grinder and put them in medium sized capsules. Took one earlier tonite and nothing to notice, but no telling what will happen once I go to 'sleep' here soon.
My question is --- what's usually considered an average dose, more or less? I'm thinking of trying three capsules next time... but really don't know what to expect. Any insights on these mushrooms? Best methods of ingestion, etc etc??

I think about 5 g dry, but I could be wrong.

it depends on the spesific shrooms you find.
i mean maybe MY muscaria can give a nice trip with 5g and YOUR muscaria can give the same trip with 10g!!!
it depends from the climate,the season etc etc

the only way to find out is to experiment
there is NO stadar dose on amanitas

but you should start with 5g dried.

You should start with small doses, because the potencey of these can vary alot.
I have managed to eat at least 5 full ones with little effect. But 1 could have easily be enough to OD on. Just becarfull, an intresting note thoe dactura(atropine) is the anti-dote for Amanita
