casings 2nd flush

i have 2 questions here,
after the first flush with casings, am it supposed to be patched them and misted directly?
also - if some viels are torn while others are still growing, is it alright to pick them or should the other ones be allowed to catch up for a more even single flush with only one picking, or is picking whichever ones open when they open alright?

Some like to harvest all at once, some like to pick them as the veil breaks, I think its better to harvest all at once. After the first flush, its a good idea to either patch or reapply a thin casing layer and then put it back in the incubation chamber to allow the new layer to be colonized, but you don't have to.

Yes, you want it to be moist but not soggy.

I harvest the ones that are ready and give the remainder 24-36 hours before picking.
