2nd Flush w/ casing?

Okay a foafoafoaf finished the first flush, mycelium was hard and on top of casing at that point so he did "deep scratching", covered w/ another 1" casing layer, and raised temp.
plan is after 5-10days (however long it takes for mycelium to show up again), then cold shock again for a 2nd flush.
Does this sound okay? any other tips?

you could always cover it with saran wrap and icubate it again..you dont have to though..
