Casing or cakes for more yield?
    #975329 - 10/19/02 09:00 PM (18 years, 11 months ago)

This is probly an obvious question. But in the same amount of space which would bring greater yeilds. And how much greater.

casings generally produce more shrooms per flush but % increase is infinitly variable. if you're new, go with cakes and 2nd time try a combo of cakes and casing.

Eightball's right, the % increase is infinitely variable. But if you're looking for a number, I'd say it's possible to get easily twice as much via casings, if not more. Good luck.

Yeah... casings do provide a bigger yield, but for a bigger risk to a grower who is new to casing...

IMO casings rock.
