My elec theory professor would ramble on and on about Tesla and his supposedly never repeated experiments such as wireless transmission of energy. Apparently he envisioned a world with free wireless energy transmission using the atmosphere itself.

Of course he did loose his marbles by the end of his life so who really knows. All I will say though is that Ide probably have trust the man who invented AC power.

*oh and for those of you who don't know anything about electrical history; read up a bit on the AC/DC "war"; its probably one of the more interesting parts*

Edison  killed dogs/cats and an elephant in public. You can even find that one on youtube. Genius and madness go hand in hand you know.

It's been around since the early 1900s.
Tesla couldn't get funding to finish Wardenclyffe and was forced to tear it down. That would have revolutionized the power industry.
But they couldn't have that.
