You've got a healthy dose of cobweb there along with some nice mycelium.

Deffinatelly cobweb. As a suggestion Angryshroom, leave the poo to colonise further and see it it is able to overcome the cobweb.

What are you waitng for? Fruit that tray of cobweb now! I wanna see some spiders
You may be able to save it by scraping the top layer off and spraying regularly with H2O/H2O2, might be too late.
Good luck

Ive got some 50/50 casings that have a cobweb problem. It seems like my whole damn house is infested with fucking cobweb. I have to boil my jars out 3 times in order to kill the shit in my substrate. (still using BRF - will be moving to grain when I get a PC)
I made a 1/100 (Clorox Ultra/H20) solution and misted the top layer of casing this morning. This is what we use for dunking, so hopefully it will knock out the cobweb and allow the mycelium to overtake it.
Damn contams!!!

I've never had a contamination on a casing before!
Anyways, im starting to think its not cobweb, becuase here is an updated pic. BTW...this was just a spare amount of manure and grain that I threw into a keg cup.

How odd. It looks like the mycelium defeated the cob web mold and took its place. Nice growth you got there!

Well, I dont think there was every any mold.
Reasons being:
1) It didn't smell dirty or funny like mold smells 2) Growth of mycelium was not haulted 3) THe alleged "cobweb" did not grow
Im thinking with mixing in the colonized grain, into the manure, the manure picks up some mycelium in the mixing process, and colonizes just from the cells of mycelium that had came in contact with it. When coloniziation first starts, its often greyish whispy. Notice once it grew, it turned pure white and formed rhyzo's
Just thought Id post this for anyone who might throw out a good jar because of a suspicion of cobweb when indeed wsa a perfectly healthy grow!

that deffinatelly was cobweb AS. You could quite clearly see it. But as I said the myceliu prevailed and overcame the cobweb. It`s something I`ve noticed happen on a casing of mine. It was a big dung casing that I wasn`t planning on tossing. The dung starting releasing the positive organisims need to combat the contamination.

Yeh I fruited it, it was a big tub of dung/ straw that I wasn`t planning on tossing out because of some silly contamination lol It overgrew the contamination very quickly, so if the cobweb is thicker and overpowering the mycelium I`d be concerned.
So I left it and it produced some huge PR fruit as expected.
