Damn Cobweb!!!

Lately I've been having prob's with cobweb. I had a casing fall prey to it, which made me very sad, and then I recently inoculated 3 BS pint jars with Karo water. Three days later, they had very thin growth which made me happy, but wary at the same time. The next day, all the growth was gray. Two things, in that short of a time. I got out my karo jars, and on closer inspection, I found the culprit of the new jars. COBWEB!!! All the karo water I had spent to make a nice little home for the mycelium, and then this monster comes in, and eats it all, leaving none for mycelium to even hope to fight with. I hate cobweb!! The growth in the jar looked strange, and now that I look at it, it is obvious. Evil, evil gray growth, clumpy, and slightly spongy, not cloudy at all, unlike a mycelium poof.
Here is a picture in case this fate befalls one of you.

The picture quality isn't all that great, but you can see the cobweb. Its not holding together as well as mycelium, I haven't even shaken this.

Cobweb mold. A mold that looks like cobwebs.
Now, every time I put up a picture on a post, no one can see it but me. Why is this? I upload it, like you have to, then take the code it tells me to put into the post and put it there. I see a picture of karo water with cobweb mold in it, but no one else does!! Help me, please!!

I really don?t think that is cobweb, it doesn?t occur in liquids.

ewww! How grotesque!
Try being more sterile. If your sure you are, there are cobweb spores floating around. Try to clean up a bit maybe.

After you get cobweb, be sure to clean everything in the terrarium (including the walls of the terrarium) with a dilute bleach/water solution.

It doesn't? For what reason? I'm not trying to be argumentative, but just wondering if there's something about cobweb that makes it unable to grow in liquid, or just unlikely. If I had a better camera, you would see that it is definately not mycelium, whatever it is.
