Sorry, but... Im gonna resurect this cashed ass thread to point out ONE MAJOR thing, and ONE iffy Thing;

1st= you say "put the tyvek, then the lid... WRONG~ Wrong~ you never want the tyvek to get wet, and when you shake it when it's still hot,(or any time after that) you get it wet, harvesting contams...

Nextly, don't be a cheap fuck and use "Priority  Mail" envelopes, that shit is WACK, go to Lowes and get a pair of "Coveralls" that painters wear...that is actual TRUE TYVEK.

...Stop spreading wack info!
I had to post because as I newb I trusted anyone that wrote up a tek,
I fuct up b/c of wack info like this...

True, postal envelopes are a blend of tyvek and other plastics they call it Tyvek because it is the most predominant ingredient. It doesn't "breath" at all, otherwise people's mail would come soaking wet if it happened to be raining.

All i use is mail grade tyvek. never have had a problem.

This is I think; as a newb, I would be CONFUSED AS FUCK... Here we have 2 different post completly contradicting each other!
...my 2 cent is... BOTH WILL WORK, is one "Better" than the other?

But; we've lost the TRUE reason that I resurected this thread;(which was to point out the order of the jar lid... it goes, LID...THEN Tyvek!
