what sort of answer is that orgone. firstly, we know newtons theory does not predict accurately 'every time'.

secondly, this says nothing about 'cause' and 'effect'.

when you hit a billiard ball, you are transferring kinetic energy in a specific direction at a certain flux.

the transfers of energy do not have beginning or ending.. the energy just flows through the system.

the question of 'cause' comes into  the equasions when you ask 'what is the initial force that we are assuming' - which associates back to the movement of the arm holding the stick, which traces back to the brain, which is as far as we can actually identify in any gross manner

newton is great
billiard balls are nice and round, nice and predictible and very good illustrations of cause and effect in a dumbed down way, except even smart people struggle with the math.
