this pattern is really not a universal law but only a fascinatingly prevalent tendency. BTW

yes fibonacci numbers...I had to work with them in one of my computer science classes using recursive functions (functions that call themselves over and over again). You can see how this would be useful...

Quantum physicists have been dabbling in numerology for years but they have more followers than metaphysicians. I think it's cuz they get better press.
