Refraction and Reflection symbols

The center 3 boxes and cross are used for refraction. The outer 4 boxes and large orange looking "H" (which is an ever expanding Ogham letter of "O") is used for reflection. The reflection symbol holds closed your mind's door, and the refraction symbol keeps your mind in a straight line (the ever expanding cross forms when you balance the symbol correctly). Having your refraction and reflection set correctly is a must for doing healing work.
One trick to using the symbols is to put letters in each box... as in
refraction:  L  S    (for LSD)    reflection:  G  O  (for GOOD)
              D                                O  D
Any three and four letter combinations can be used.
These are good for tuning and metaprogramming, aids in brainwave sync and mind aura control.

Could you elaborate a little bit more? What do you use it for? Can you give a concrete example? Also, I have no idea what refration and relfection are about in this context, care to explain those terms?
