10 cakes sitting around
    #960932 - 10/14/02 08:17 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

I have about 10 pf tek syle cakes sitting around. They are probably about a couple of weeks after full colonization! Should I birth now? Or does it even matter when I birth? I was thinking about doing straw or something but kinda lazy.

Birth after full colonization has been achieved. I think if you let it sit too long it'll eat up all the nutrients, and then it won't have any left to grow mushrooms. And what do you mean that your thinking about doing straw?

Cold dunk and birth them already.  They need only to have been colonized for about a week.  Get those puppies started into fruiting!  Bewarned, straw contaminates easily.  Good luck to you!

Don`t be difficult just tell the guy what invitro means.
It occurs when you`re cakes are fruited while in the jar and grow in the jar.
Fruited meaning exposing them to light and some form of Gaseous exchange

you've gotta understand though, this is the same guy that will constantly argue with you about cultivation even though he has no experience
