I'm only trying to help based on current information.

I had not decided that it was time for a padded cell from this thread alone.

Clearly you are aware of this persons condition more than I am but not aware that I am unaware or else just untactful.

I explained it all on the previous page.

He had a stroke, and surgery. He is paralyzed and in constant pain.

He doesn't need a padded cell. He needs a caretaker who will allow him to take the drugs he has been rightfully prescribed. Intervention appears necessary.

Contact a social worker if anyone knows the personal information.....they can help with all sorts of things that someone sick just can't put together......they are very helpful people and have a lot more power than you would think in a community....probably kept my life from hitting the pavement.

Personally I find drugs for sleep to not be the best thing unless you are in a very bad place, it is good to find some sort of natural pattern...even if added by drugs (talking about not just passing out from dosage)....and some docs are so funny about the really good meds, they think an antihistamine is good for anxiety and sleep problems.....they aren't, that is a cheap trick!

Drug chemicals are going to be more abundant and survive longer than any anti-drug agendas.  Some of us are just ahead of the game, we already know what the future will understand.  Drugs weren't bad but how some people used them were and some people just were bad because they had to be.

I mean, for real though. 

If he obviously has (as he does, or he wouldn't be posting here) internet/phone access and hasn't ever called the police OR social services OR anyone else, that says (and pretty clearly, to be honest) that he is fine with his current situation, even if it is indeed as the other poster describes...
