If you didn't have to follow an everyday schedule with work/school and whatnot, how would you sleep? Are you an insomniac? I have this thing where I seem to only be able to sleep during the day..anyhow i would probably sleep for 4 hours wake up for 10, then sleep 5 hours, etc. I have lots of trouble sleeping long periods of time and falling asleep in itself is hard. Fucking stupid schedules.

It isn't more complicated than that.
It is opening to or recieving the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant, just as it is,
without either clinging to it or rejecting it.

I'm total insomniac, but once I fall asleep, if I'm not woken up, I'll sleep for about 11 or 12 hours.
I'd go to bed at around 12 or 1 am, but I'd prolly actually get to sleep somewhere around 2 or 2:30.
My brother would sleep during the day and stay awake at night. I dunno, that seems like it'd be horribly depressing to me (he pretty much does it anyways, in spite of his job). Besides, night sucks, can't see anything.

You need night vision
I've always been a night person...hell I haven't gone to sleep yet and it's almost 10:30am. I do this in spite of any normal schedule I have, my sleeping patterns are basically whenever I am tired and don't have to go anywhere for a couple hours. When I was in high school it was pretty much the same way..stay up all night..sleep in school Though if I get into a pattern of staying up all night and sleeping during the day I tend to get a little depressed. Usually I sleep during the day for like 2 days and go to sleep around 2am for the rest of the week. That's how my schedule seems to be in a rotation like that. Oh yeah... and whereas before I used to sleep for periods of like 12 hours... I can now get a full nights sleep and wake fully refreshed in about 4 hours. It's efficient sleep. I can still sleep for like ten or twelve hours when I want to, but I usually only sleep for about 5. When I fall asleep, I hardly ever wake up unless something is wrong with my body. I go into deep sleep and stay there until I wake.

Usually I get 4-5 hours of sleep a night during the weekday. I wake up extra early on Saturday to wake-n- umm, you know but sunday I usually sleep into the afternoon getting 12-13 hours. I feel totally recharged and ready to tackle another week of school work.

My sleep schedule is fucked. ever since i stopped smoking pot, its been incredibly hard to fall asleep at night. I take 3 mg of melatonin to boot, but it just doesnt soom to be doing its thing anymore. if im on the computer, i can stay up all night usually.
doesnt really matter how bright the sun is, i'd just sleep right thru to 4 o'clock if i didnt have to go to work.

My sleep cycle runs on months, ever three or so months I get "the headache" wich sticks with me no matter what I do for atleast a week before it goes migraine and then the sleep goes a way, slowly about 3 hours daily till I reach my peek, after zero hours for a day or sometimes 3 and then it builds up day by day, each day another 1-3 hours untill I reach my "normalcy" at 6 hrs and then rinse lather and repeat
