What a week!

I?ve been looking for a job for a while, with nothing but bad luck.. and then yesterday *ring* *ring* the phone went, golfcourse... mhmm.. mhmm. Yes! bingo. Job.

So anyways, a bunch of friends came down for the weekend, and we decided to have a little gathering, made a nice fire in the backyard, brought out some music.. smoked a little smoke.. drank and little drink..  just had a good time =).. We even played the mission impossible theme music when we went on wood hunting quests :wink:



So the fire is going great.. everyones having a great time, roasting marshmallows, soaking up the beats, the fresh warm air.. all of a sudden,  the fire made a little *POP*.. nothing extraordinary, except that it launched a peice of fucking ember into my fucking eye. So I swore and yelled, and freaked out for a few minutes about that. Four rum and cokes later, it didnt hurt anymore. Excellent.



Woke up this morning and it hurt quite a bit. =| What really freaks me out, is had that ember been just a little bit more to the right.. I could be blind in that eye =(

So, I get back from the doctor.. and I hear CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP. My sister bought a fucking duckling! Shes not intending on keeping it once its grown, though.. We?ve got some cousins who need a duck to keep the leeches out of their pond, so everything works out :smile:


So.. this is the most eventful week I?ve had in a while.. Or I should say eventful two days.. =P I?m so fucking happy I finally have a job... This will be the first job with a garanteed paycheck I?ll have had in a long time, no more of this freelance no getting paid bullshit.

My week couldn?t have been better... aside from the getting burned part..  How was your week?

Speaking of ducks...last year a duck made a nest between my air conditioner and my house and had 8 babies and it came back this year...its pretty cool, its a chill duck unless you bother it which i dont...i only wish it were tame and i could hold it and play with the little ducklings...but my friend is going to this fair and you can buy chickens for 4 dollars, i told him to pick one up for me...i want to get one. This one dude i knew last year got like 8 chickens and kept them in his backyard but then a bunch of cats ate them...HAHA
