Thailand in under 3 weeks!

Yep so i'll be over the other side of the world in under 3 weeks!
Will be staying in bangkok for a day or so and then heading south, might make a stop of at kho-pan yang (sp)? for the full moon party who knows. Anyway i'm there for two weeks mainly interested in the southern parts so if anyone knows of any good places to visit/things to do that would be cool.

Yah man, I was in Thailand last winter (although it sure as hell wasn't winter there.) I was in Bangkok, Phuket (hehe), and Chian Mai. You'll certainly see some fucked up stuff. I know all the cool places in Bangkok. Let me know if you want more info.

hey-- I went to Thailand this summer.. man what fun :] I'm sure you'll have a blast..

When you arrive in Bangkok, there will be dozens of thai chumps trying to lure you to their hotel & taxi-- just Ignore the shit outta them.. they'll realize u dont want to talk to them shortly.. if u even say a word to them like 'no thanks' they will keep pestering you.. There are government regulated taxi's outside the main airport and are blue and red- these taxi's charge a fixed rate per mile (soo much cheaper, this is what thai's use)

So once you arrive, where do you stay? Well.. I stayed on Ko San Road.. where most backpackers stay- although its known to be sort of the 'ripoff backpackers' part of town.

I went to the Full Moon Party on Ko Pangan (pronounced CO-PAN-YANG (rhymes with WONG) - some people pronounce it as CO-PAN-YAN (with no g) -- The full moon party was pretty fun, I went in the low season so not as many people there which is nice. If you want to know where to get some good E on ko pangan i could fill you in, PM me.

It's more exciting when you arrive with not too much planned out, so I'll save you the details.. just be safe and never leave your bag.
