this agar plate has a sample from a unknown dried p.c mushroom. its about 3 or 4 days old.

definitely transfer, and preferably onto some antibiotic agar as your plate looks heavily contaminated.  Transfer more often than this.  As soon as you can see an area that appears to be clean of contamination (by visual observation) you should be transferring.  Once you think you have clean culture, let it grow out.
