Same here. I've never known anyone to badly hurt themselves on the table saw, or with any saws for that matter. One of the worst injuries Ive seen was when my cousin was operating a drill press and neglected to pull back the sleeves of his sweater. Needless to say, the bit grabbed on to his sleeve and pulled his arm into its path. Made a mess of his inner arm and fingers. I've been woodworking for years, and my worst accidents have occurred from a simple razor blade.
You can be safe and careful for your entire career, but the one brief moment when you relax that attention the worst accidents can occur.

who knows cause it has to heal then after it heals they have to do surgery so about a month but my boss will let me work at a reduced rate just to hand him stuff and be a one handed bitch until I can fully work again witch is pretty cool

and typing sucks one handed

waht really sucks about tablesaws is that something as simple as a knot in the wood can cause such an accident. i truely do feel for you man. check the pm i sent ya if your not convinced. best wishes to ya and keep building america for us.

In fact if that had been me, Id have stumbled into the nearest coffeeshop, bled a bit and demanded they smoke me up for free to sort out my pain. Then next coffeeshop etc etc until Id lost so much blood I fell over

But then I dont live in Netherlands so Im not bored by how normal it is :lol:
