first dmt breakthrough - christmas eve

we extracted some dmt a while ago, we have a kilo of root bark so plenty more to extract :grin:

anyway with our jar of dmt or nigerine as we like to call it, reference(http://jeremybigwood.net/JBsPUBS/DMT/) we were smoking it for a few months, getting familiar with its effects, over the few months we became convinced that the trip reports on the internet from mcKenna and hippy layabouts from erowid were all just exaggerations and overstatements of the experience,

we have both had acid mushrooms ketamine mdma n2o + more and combinations of these chemicals and some trip reports of these chemicals seemed slightly overstated.

so we thought that we had seen all dmt had to offer, on christmas eve we were in my brothers house smoking dmt quite casually, we had just smoked a pipe each(with parsley method) then we changed the music and loaded another while still coming down off the first. . . . . .

. . . i broke through when i took a hit, i wont try to explain it too much, the experience defied words, i didnt see elves or aliens, i was in another world or universe but i wasnt new there i felt as if i left it long ago and i had returned, i felt like i was welcomed back by the entities there, as if my normal real life was just an interruption in this other life or reality . . . .

i dont really know what im trying to say in this post . . maybe only for people like i was who think they know what dmt does the proper breakthrough is something else! . . . . all those hippy bullshit trip reports about aliens and entities make sense after a full on breakthrough, its really fucking crazytown

p.s by the way iv nothing against hippies im just sick of being mistaken for one (iv got 3 foot long hair so i look like one but i prefer not to restrict myself to one nametag) i really have nothing against most of them its just the only self professed hippies i know think john lilly is a genius :nonono:

oh and one last thing, on the internet we read that if you dont get enough dmt in your lung within the first minute or two you develop a short lasting tolerance which may prevent a breakthrough ref(http://www.lycaeum.org/drugs.old/other/gandz/gandz.dmt.html). . . we found that to be untrue, evidenced by my breakthrough the other night

awesome! the whole 'elves and aliens' stuff didnt sit with me.. even after many different level trips I think that people just get really confused when they try to rationalise what they just saw or felt, and use these words to describe the fact that what they saw was both: seemingly conscious ..&.. completely otherworldly/foreign/unidentifiable. When we think about it, elves and aliens are considered by us humans simply as people with unusual bodies and unusual motives. That is basically how we imagine elves and aliens. Thus whe npeople whitness consciousness with the same qualities, they use such words to rationalise their eperiences.

But yeh each persons' trisp are different so maybe mine have just been void of a clear technology or something. Nothing ive ever seen could be considered technology.. except the fact that it looked like 'things' were 'doing stuff' according to some continual mechanical rule.. which suggests technology.. sort of. It is as if, since the visions appear to all be purposeful or following some track or plan or system... never trully random.. even if totally unpredictable.. many people interpret it as technology.

Thats just my opinion so far.

Ps. As for the developing tolerance thing.. its not as simple as people try to make out with their formulas (eg things like '60 second' rule.. it is just an approximation used by people so that they feel like they have better control over what is going on). However, there IS something going on because sometimes you can smoke enough dmt to get you going, but if you take it in a few small hits instead of one big one.. it wont work. And then if you do try taking a big hit is still doesnt work after all that. So something is going on. even if its not as simple as 'you have to take three big hits within a time period of 60 seconds'
