just an idea that coins with the subject.I read in an alternative medicinal book that sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and evening primrose seeds(pure seed oil preferred) all contain tryptophan, the precursure to serotonin.Also for anyone interested in cacti doping, fava beans(vicia faba), and velvet bean(of the mucuna family may contain more) contain l-dopa.The precurser to mescaline.The sprouts may be utilized.Does anyone know the polarity of L-dopa/tryptophan or hw it may be extracted.Could I boil either of the two????

Ilike your idea! Im getting good results from 2 melatonin pills per cake,no fruits yet though.Just got your message today Cav.Haow many times have you had fruits with your method?Did you have many aborts?

ultrapope: I broke two pills per cake pan (I'm using casing method with cake pans and perlite for hum).

tokin: I've fruited only once, although my cake pans are starting to show signs of second birth. I've searched the archives here, and the general census seems to be 5-HTP is known to raise the psilocybin content in the mushrooms. There also seems to be agreement that it takes the nausea effects out of the fruits. (I don't get nausea, so I don't know.)

I've just innoculated some new jars with 5-HTP in the brown rice/verm substrate (12 pills per 9 jars, around a .667 gram per jar). I'm not sure if this is enough or not, but one way to find out is to experiment, right? I'll post results here in five or so weeks when I fruit.

You can get 5htp at most good health food stores. Even some bad ones(GNC)

BTW take a few your self if you roll.
