Today (Nov 12 '08) is an important day on the Mayan calendar

Thought I would post this info for what it's worth:

In the Galactic cycle, today is the last day of the 5th night (destruction) and the first day of the 6th day (flowering).  This is according to Carl Johan Calleman, author of "The Mayan Calendar:  Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time", and "The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness".  Remember, according to Calleman, the Mayan Calendar ends on October 28th, 2011, NOT in December, 2012.



I know it's confusing how he calls each 360 day tun a "day" or a "night" but just be aware of it.

I think this information is roughly corelated by the vogon announcement of the destruction of the Earth in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".

In my wildest imaginings I use the analogy of being stuck on a Holodeck with the choice of remembering how we got here and if we were running away from a situation we disliked and wouldn't return to,...and if we'd rather stay on the holodeck and play with the settings or something.

They better get more pundits in Fairfield, Iowa. Because none of us are transforming much of anything. Time to placate Mahakali - She who controls timeliness. And eat a piece of fruit while it still has flavor.

When I think of destruction over the past year I think of the world economy and more specifically, the US economy.  So, imo, that is what to focus on in the next 360 day cycle.  Watch for a new system to take root and 'flower'.
