My fat ass and I....

Don't get along very well. Matter of fact, it absolutely kills me.
I'm 6'1, 19yo male, around 85-90 kilos (190'ish pounds) pretty well built.

Now, i'm pretty happy with my upper torso but my ass and thighs are noticeably big. My thighs are fairly muscular with a bit of fat on them, which don't bother me all that much, it's just my BUTT. I don't know why it's so big.

It causes me serious grief, im so horribly self-conscious of it. My life would be infinitely better if i could get it back to normal size.

HELP ME. I eat well but don't exercise enough as soccer is in the off-season.

What can I do to burn it off as quickly as possible?

Wow that sounds really really like a female. Since when have you heard a guy complaining about having a fat ass? Anyways i think the girls like it, so i would stick with it. Maybe even wear clothes that show it off. :laugh:

I know! It really does bother me though. It used to be nice and "plump" according to the ladies, now it's just fat though.  :cryariver:

I'd just say run. Perhaps lift weights for your lower body to burn that extra fat and help tone it out.

You can't spot train, so theres nothing you can do but loose fat with cardio, diet, and weight lifting.

As quickly as possible? Lol that would mean constantly moving all day with at least 1 hour of intense exercise along with a low cal diet like 1000-1200 calories a day. This is very difficult because you won't have that much energy to do your workout so what I did when I wanted to lower my bf % is drink 3-4 cups of green tea before a workout. I managed to maintain a 2 hour medium intensity cardio session 4 times a week. Lost a lot of fat in two months, too much actually.

Well I have a fuckload of time.

I could easily go with eating small amounts for a decent period.
I have the stoner's fast until I smoke, and combined with coffee, i can go the whole day on a few pieces of toast.

I have to get back into drinking lots and lots of water as well.

What do you guys think of crosstrainers? I have one, but it has very little resistance so i never really feel like it's doing that much for me.

What did your workouts consist of fawhit?
I am really glad for all the replies.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Lift weights
Tuesday, Thursday: Run/swim/climb rocks/hike/play soccer/have sex

Check out t-nation.com and search for Westside 4 Skinny Bastards on google.  If you want to burn fat, you need to follow the right diet, and eating nothing but toast and coffee all day is not it.  You need to eat lean meats, lots of veggies, fruit, and whole grain carbs.  Stay away from sugar and saturated fats.  Eat alot of protein, drink alot of water, etc.

There is so much information on the internet if you're willing to read up a little.  :cheers:

That's half the problem, there is such a plethora of different diets and different opinions that it all becomes a little overwhelming! I don't only eat coffee and toast, I was just saying that I can get by with little food.

I hear ya there.  Check out t-nation.com.  They have quality articles on nutrition and training.  Look up Charles Poliquin and read some of his articles as well.

If you're going to eat, fill up on a fruit of your choice first, before anything else.  It'll make a big difference for you, especially combined with exercise.

back when i rode my bike for an hour a day (i did it on a bike trainer in my living room, so i could watch TV) I noticed my ass shrunk QUICK.  like - very quick.

So - that'd be my recommendation
