n,n-DMT -> Ayahausca

I've got about 500mg of pure  nn-DMT on hand and I would like to know if it is possible to convert it into an ayahausca? If so, how would I go about doing it? I know I will need an MAOI to make it viable orally. I'm planning on using caapi for that.

I've enjoyed smoking it but I feel the experience is too short and random to comprehend anything from it.

guess you could just make yourself some caapi tea and just parachute the dmt?

Just make an MAOI brew (caapi vine is better than rue, but either will work), and drink that. Then 20 minutes later dissolve some DMT in fruit juice (or whatever beverage of your choice) and drink that.

The dosage seems quite unpredictable when using pure DMT for ayahuasca. Some people get good effects from 30 mg, while others don't get any effects short of 180 mg. I haven't heard any decent explanation for this strange variability.

Taking it as the freebase is fine, it'll get converted to the hydrochloride salt in your stomache. If you dissolve it in an acidic beverage like fruit juice, then it'll convert to a salt before it gets to your stomache. But even if you use a pH-neutral beverage, the freebase will still dissolve in it within a minute or two, it's more soluble in water than you'd expect.

I guess I can try start at about 50-80mg. Any tips on how much caapi to take? I'll have to take some from a friends vine.

Also, how long is the experience supposed to last if taken orally?

I have drunk many different varieties of caapi including homegrown caapi grown in North America, and stuff bought online grown in South America. On average the best dose is around 75 dried grams, give or take depending on the batch.

As far as oral freebase DMT dosage 50-80mg is too low. Take at least 200-250mg if you want a full experience. If you're a crazy psychonaut you'll want to take more than that even. 

Oral DMT usually peeks for 1 1/2 hours and keeps riding out for a couple hours after that.

this thread just reminded me of a few things, buying "drugs" or entheogens from south America can literally save the rain forest.
Natives burn down their rain forests for charcoal and other raw materials make a few dollars a day for it.
If more people would buy entheogens from south America imagine how much rain forest we could save?

I would strongly advice making a brew of caapi and charuna and not using your crystal dmt.
It makes getting the right dosage much easier and there is a certain synergy and harmony between the charuna and the vine.

That's cause it's chacruna.  But otherwise he's right.

I would save most of that for smoking and just buy plant matter for making the brew.

Pharmahuasca is a different experience in itself though so you might want to try it at least once.  50-80 is too low an amount of spice to use.  200 might be a bit much.  When I did it I found that 120mg of spice was a nice amount.  I'd suggest the 110-150 range.

The main plus I noticed with pharmahuasca is that you don't get the chills that could typically accompany a traditional aya brew, particularly if you take the spice with rue.  But, doing it that way, you also probably won't see the health benefits that might come from the caapi/chacruna combo.

Well I've just found out that psychotria viridis (chacruna) is completely illegal and regulated under the same schedule as heroin where I live. Such a shame.

Any good alternatives?

Chaliponga (Diplopterys cabrerena) works, though it has both DMT and 5-MeO-DMT.

Are you in the USA? Chacruna (and anything else containing DMT, like people and bananas) is technically Schedule I (same as heroin) here, but in practice the law is never enforced.

Nah I'm in Australia, and as far as I'm aware, customs are quite a bit more strict here. (hence the ridiculous prices on everything)

Ah. In that case you might want to look into some of the species of Acacia that are indigenous over there; there are several species that are good sources of DMT. As I recall, Acacia obtusifolia is pretty popular for DMT extractions down under.

Ahh that plant is definitely one I've seen before. But where?!

I'd say, take half of the DMT, dissolve it into some orange juice (or lemon juice, would work better.), make vine tea, drink the vine tea, wait for 30 mins (since the dmt would be not have to be absorbed through plant goop it would probably be advisable to wait for the MAOI to start to absorbed first before you ingest the DMT.) and then drink the DMT, then if you wish smoke some DMT while you are tripping on ayahuasca.

Be brave dear psychonuaght, find a new dimension to explore.

Some thoughts to remember while tripping: Every moment is perfect, and there is never anything to be afraid of, even death is just going to sleep in this lifetime and waking up in another, and it is a gateway, and an experience to be enjoyed. Pain is jut another sensation for us to enjoy, and it is not a negative experience as it is normally thought, since there is no such thing as negative, only positive, and never be held back by fear, as it is the only thing that keeps you from enjoying every single moment that ever happens. Once you understand that everything is perfect, since nothing but perfection can exist, you are free.
