bloody stool

I just took a shit and the last little bit of it was totally red. The wipe was totally red and everything. It didn't hurt or anything but red is not a color I would expect to shit. Should I be concerned?

Prolly just hemorrhoids, or wiping too vigorously.  Most likely nothing to worry about.  If the next 5 bm's are like that too I'd see a doctor.  If not, I'd wipe it off as a bad memory. :lol:

Don't hemorrhoids sting like a bitch? My ass feels pretty normal right now. I just had what appeared to be blood in my poo. Is that not abnormal if it only happens once?

if its just red its probably an anal fissure, probably caused by passing something sharp or by constipation, although it could be a tumor or something, so keep an eye on it and go to the doc if it doesn't go away.  If you see black in the stool, that's coagulated blood and its an indication of something more serious (internal bleeding) and you should see a doctor right away.

At least two or three times in my life I've taken a dump and there's a boat load of bright red fresh blood that comes out as well. Apparently it can happen if you have shit that cuts your insides on the way out (and none of the times I've felt it). It isn't a big deal though.

It's only bad if the blood that comes out is aged, like brown blood.

I've had it before dude. I wouldn't freak out yet. I shit blood after a large DPH dose once, that was scary. However i've also just had shit that was so sharp from sunflower seeds and whatnot that it tore up my anus.
