I usually store extra's in a gallon zip-lok bag.I dont have parafilm,but the bags seem to work.first I spray the bag with lysol,a few squirt's,then load in the petris and just before closing,spray a fw more time's with lysol..works very well..
As far as condensation,when I am in the glove-box and innoculating petri's I just give the lid a good shake,and off go the droplets.

For sealing petri dishes I do the following:
I cut a 1 inch piece of a Saran Wrap role off and use this to wrap arroud the petri dish just like with Parafilm. You can strech the wrap a little bit and you will get a perfect tight seal, which is porous enough to alove a gas exchange though.
As for storing fresh plates: If they are not sterile, contamination will show up if you store them at room temeprature, so you can sort the bad ones out. If you store them in a fridge, you might end up transfering mycelium wedges to allready contaminated plates, without knowing it!

Ryche, I use parafilm on my dishes and slants when in cold storage and place the them in a couple of large zip lock bags. When I need the plates, I remove the parafilm to inoculate and keep it off. I will lose a dish or two sometimes but not as much as w/the film. I have found over the years that agar needs to breathe.

Thats some good advice.
Place into individual ziplock bags then into gallon ziplock bags then into trash bags with twist ties,set on shelf and don't worry about it, its a lot faster than sealing them.
Reducing Condensation:
glass plates= sterilize so they are hot to the touch when you pour your agar.
try lowering your agar to 15 grams to 1000ml.
it won't set as fast,(so it can cool off longer) which will help on your condensation.
