Let me take a stab at this one guys,

Visigoth,

1. Is it ok to store already poured plates of agar in the fridge until ready to use?
-From what i have learned, the fridge might be the most contaminated zone of your house. I would not store petri's in the fridge unless they were all wrapped, sealed and put into a contaminant-free container..

2. Is it ok to turn the plates upside down so that condensation will not drip and land on the agar?
-No need for this. The condensation does no harm..

?? Correct/Expand on any of my answers if needed..
